Avon man faces 3 additional, 7 current total, indecent liberties with child charges

Luther Grandy Hooper III, already on state sex offender list, also faces 5 other sexual crimes charges

MANTEO — The Dare County Sheriff’s Office this week charged Luther Grandy Hooper III, 69, of the 40100 block of C C Gray Road in Avon with three additional “indecent liberties with a child” charges, bringing the current total to seven.
