Buxton beach closure expands again a year after initial closure, situation reportedly worsening

BUXTON — Following several days of strong northeast winds and erosion, Cape Hatteras National Seashore on Thursday morning expanded the area of closure for a stretch of beach near the Buxton Beach Access.
