The two Social Security Administration offices in North Carolina closest to the Outer Banks and a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers office in Wilmington are among federal lease contracts terminated by President Donald Trump administration’s new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by billionaire Elon Musk.
