MANTEO — One of Dare County’s five suspended dredging permits was reinstated last week, almost exactly a month after the permits were suspended on Sept. 17 for repeated instances of documented noncompliance.
Both Dare County Manager Bobby Outten and a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday that one permit had been reinstated to date.
